We are a Sober Living Community and Halfway House dedicated to providing men in early sobriety with a safe, sober environment, which encourages growth through participation in a twelve-step support program; while reinforcing the value of honesty, integrity and service. In our opinion, everyone who has achieved any duration of sobriety has undergone distinct personality changes that make them different from the person they were when they came in. We believe in treating you like the person you are trying to become; and so, We promise to treat you with respect and dignity. By creating an environment that fosters self-respect, establishes true pride, and encourages acting with integrity, we hope to increase the likelihood of achieving long-term success in sobriety.
Our Mission
Many people find that after leaving an in-patient treatment center for alcohol and drug dependency, it can be hard to re-enter the real world. Living in early sobriety, sometimes we are overwhelmed by the challenges we must face, and the additional support, community and structure of a sober living facility may serve as an excellent transitional aid.
Support of an on-site resident manager
At New Horizons, you will have the support of an on-site resident manager and house mates that understand exactly what you’re going through, that can help you easily handle struggles, and day by day, live successfully in sobriety.
